Apttive is a dedicated Adaptive Skills Training (AST) program committed to supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in building independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills.
We partner with Regional Centers and families to provide personalized, hands-on support that promotes growth in daily living, communication, and community engagement.
As a home- and community-based program, Apttive focuses on enhancing each individual’s daily living skills through structured one-on-one support. Services are delivered in real-life environments to encourage practical skill development and long-term independence.
When appropriate, and with approval from the Regional Center and client, virtual services are also available to accommodate individuals who require alternative or flexible support options.
Apttive strongly believes in meeting clients where they are and building on current skills or learning new ones. Founded in the heart of Silicon Valley, we wanted to make sure each individual had the opportunity to keep learning and have the tools for success while also having the option to adapt to new technology in their everday environments.
Every individual deserves access to quality support, opportunities for growth, and the ability to actively participate in their community. We proudly serve clients of California’s Regional Centers, which were established through the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act. This landmark law ensures that individuals with developmental disabilities have the legal right to receive services and support that promote independence and inclusion.
